And before anyone asks, spending nearly an hour of not getting killed while tickling a nuclear-powered-boss' heath bar with somewhat decent gear in a single fight is NOT a challenge, It's artificial difficulty that forces endless hours of mindless grinding!

It’s funny hearing what used to be the default method of play described as a secret difficulty system. Difficulty systems were invented because people want to rush through the game rather than play methodically.

When you get to a new area and your weapons that were 1-2 shotting everything now takes 4-5 hits, yeah, time to hit the gear upgrades

Game is unbalanced and needs some major adjustments. This game will be lost on casuals like me if they don’t fix things quickly. Two reasons why. 1. They advertised this game as “more approachable” in terms of general players, right now it only suits the hardcore fanbase (just like POE 1 did). 2. Most gamers don’t have hours upon hours to grind for gear and level up just to get past one or two boss battles. Most people just want to hop on a game and have some semi-mindless fun, not to be hyper engaged with the game and it’s systems. GGG is making the EXACT same mistake they did in the first game; ignoring the average players.

It takes me hours to go up 1level now kinda stuck at a boss and need level skill points but the highest level gives the most xp so I'm stuck playing the same level on repeat for hours

Nah, the game is just very difficult for the general public right now. Act1 is a gigantic filter the final boss in Act2 is absurdly hard even for experienced players. I hope they tune down a bit the difficulty for the less hardcore audience.

Man, that’s really bullshit.

If you don’t grind out like 10+ levels, bosses will still nuke you if you mess up the mechanic. So don’t try to sell it like this isn’t some kind of gatekeeping.

Like I want to grind out the same map for 2 days straight to be able to kill that one boss and realizing the next boss I’m facing after that one nukes me again.

The only way to not get burnt out from this shit as a non sweat lord is looking up a good build from any good source or simply uninstalling the game.

I‘d say I’m a fairly good gamer but just not one of those ARPGs experts. I fucking died 400+ within the first 3 acts on normal difficulty because I wanted to give it a try on my own.

Now that I got a good build going I can start enjoying the actual game for its Orginal purpose and not having the feeling I’m on work right now and have to be hyperfocussed 24/7
