Toyota Launches the New Mirai

Toyota City, Japan, December 9, 2020―Toyota Motor Corporation (Toyota) today launched the completely redesigned "Mirai" fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV). The all-new Mirai is available from Toyota vehicle dealers starting December 9.

Heard that toyota isnt making sleepy cars anymore and the toyota engineers are giving the priority to performance. Thats good. But in performance mood the driver will need an attractive and sporty exhaust, steering and stable too. However nice and good car. Also thankyou so much for making it minus emission.❤

Yeah....I hear toyota is winning the race to a market ready solid-state battery how about making a car with both a large honkin' solid state battery with may be a 150 kwh capacity -- or may be even larger -- which would fit in the wheel that great redesigned compact more efficient fuel cell in the THAT'S AN ELECTRIC CAR WITH BOTH A SOLID STATE BATTERY AS WELL AS A FUEL CELL.... I never really liked the idea of "THE FRUNK" ever since it was introduced by Elon in the first model S and continues on with the X & the 3 That hood space logically and rationally could be used for something useful and productive rather that using it as a selling point as having an extra bit of storage how a future EV should be toyota's next electric truck should be that of room for excuses....if only I were an engineer @ toyota, I'd have proposed such idea

It's not too late for Toyota to embrace electrification. It is the only way it can take on VW and possibly Tesla. But it has to find a different way to go about building electric cars. Solid state batteries is just one but most important is the lay-out of the electric motor. It will be wise investment to partner or purchase outright Elaphe Propulsion Technologies, which designs and produce in hub electric motors, which provide direct drive to electric vehicles. The space saved where the electric motors in conventional EV, can be taken up with extra battery packs. Toyota can pioneer these in-hub electric motors in Kei cars and vans, just to gain public acceptance to its EV aspirations. Toyota can then build trucks with batteries tucked in between its ladder frames. Imagine the advantages of direct drive in-hub electric motors. Toyota can trial these in-hub motors in their electric forklifts, and thru these experience, gain more knowledge into adapting them into their electric car lineup.

This vehicle is very inconvenience. Do not buy, save your money and buy EV vehicle such as Tesla or hybrid vehicle but not this fuel cell vehicle. Your vehicle never get fully filled at any hydrogen station in California, 2020 Mirai Limited version shows 357 for the range but you can only fill your tank up to 300 or 307 as max. Do not buy this vehicle or you will regret it!
