This button technically exists in the fuse box

There need to be a feature that tells the car that this is not a passenger it is in fact- a pizza and you can shut up now

My ram 1500 has the weirdest way to turn that sound off. You start with the belt buckled, turn the key 2 positions, then unbuckle and buckle 3 times in a row, then start the truck. It's like a fucking video game cheat code, its so bizarre lmao

New cars (in the EU) have this feature, mine beeps only above a certain speed.

Here's a fun one, My mustang beeps even when I'm wearing the seatbelt. Seatbelt or not, - doesn't matter.
What more is it only beeps 50% of the time I use the car.
It essentially just beeps whenever it feels like it for however long it feels like it.

You can buy just the clip part for your seat belt for... decorative purposes.

My seat belt alarm was disabled by the last owner. Didnt even notice for almost a year because I always wear my seatbelt, but its nice sometimes like this lol

Worst yet, having a Labrador in the passenger seat. Every time he wiggles the car thinks a child is there and I don't know how to make it stop

With my work truck if I start it up and put it in drive without my seat belt on, it sends a notification and Ill get a demerit.

Had to buy a ODB2 accessory that let me remove the seatbelt chime, my old truck just had a button/key sequence that let me turn it off.

I used to work for a poultry company doing pest control and spraying vegitation, so i was constantly in and out of the truck drivng around the properties, seat belt chime dingong the whole time. I even tried buckling it in and just sitting on it, but it was an extended cab f150, and the seat bealt was attached the rear door i was constantly opening for tools and supplies, it sucked 😅

In most old school cars it won’t beep at low speed and shuts off after a while.

You know exactly how it would go if we had a button that turned the noise off.

My car on ironically already doesn’t have this feature. Turns out when you put an aftermarket radio in it gets rid of that noise and the blinker sounds.

I mean technically the button does exist it's called buckling the seatbelt

So in early to mid 2000s Land/Range Rovers, if you put the seat belt in and out 10 times in a row, it would disable the seatbelt chime permanently.
