I actually just ordered this lens tonight! Hopefully it comes soon and I get to use it. Been wanting a replacement 35 lens since my Voigtlander 35 1.2 died. Glad I ran across your video cause it got me super hyped to get mine :)

I’m hope I’m not too late to the party here. I see we are still waiting for your full review of the TTArisan 35 - can you test some portraits on the M10 - closest focus portrait. Not sure if you have access to anybody. Thanks for doing these reviews. I actually just bought the TTArtisan 21mm, 35mm and 50. They may be a few weeks until the arrive here in Canada. Cheers man!

That is a exciting lens for the price and build quality!
As for the film testing question if you want to test for sharpness use for example Ilford pan f 50, cinestil 50d or Fuji velvia 50. All of those have a good level of sharpness and low levels of grain!

How does this compare to the Voightlander Nokton 35mm f1.4 - a lens which many people like, and which is only a little more expensive?

I don’t know how many leica users buy these lenses, but mirrorless users.... a lot of them!

Test it with the Leica M6 and Portra 400 or HP5 wide open. - I have a voigtlander 35mm f2 ultron and love it.... But this interests me for shots around the house at night. I'd pick it up for that one use for the price.

I am looking for this Lens since 2019...from what i've read from Reviews, it's pretty good for the small (asking) Price...of course, naturally by Design, it's no Summilux 35/1.4 ASPH. Please test it with your M6, Tri-X 400. Someday, I would get this Lens, or the Zeiss Biogon 35/F2 ZM.

Not sure why you think M10 users wouldn't buy it. I would if it is reasonable wide open. Not all of us can afford the 35 lux. I also have the SL2 so some stills with the S1H shot wide open would be appreciated too. Thanks Darryl.
