Nice job. Could you go into some detail about the electronics? I'd love to make a working chime

That’s pretty cool! Is there a failsafe in case of loss of power?

Magnets also on the door side. Ideally in some fancy config to hold a little better and a slight gap between that would have to be small enough to keep the magnets attracted but large enough to not cause the door to pull up and stick to the pneumatic tubey thing

That is awesome. I would say that gives me an idea but my wife would probably run me outta the house if I even try. Sweet door though!

And so the magnets would theoretically be able to be made strong enough to close the door smoothly at speed, but also break off if there's an obstruction so the door free floats until it's put back in the position of the tube-magnets. Enjoy!

So no vacuum or anything needed. The door would float on a rail. And believe me, I loathe traditional pocket doors with the wheels on the door and the cheap flimsy track when they come off track. But I think there are some options nice enough for that to not be a huge issue.

Instead of a regular pneumatic cylinder, what if there was a custom one meant for pressurized air intake on either end. With a stopper of sorts in the middle that can move side to side

So basically an bank drive-through capsule that's magnetic and magnets on the door to match

Okay, but hear me out, . I think I have a way for the door to be opened quicker and get that full whoosh and not be a crush hazard as much as well
