Climate activists shutdown Trafalgar Square leading to 39 arrests

Extinction Rebellion took to the streets of London marching from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square where they staged a mass sit down demonstration bringing all traffic in the area to a standstill. Later in the evening more police arrived as arrests started to take place. Some protesters had glued themselves to the tarmac but specialist protest removal teams were already on standby and were able to unglue them quickly. The protest is part of a week of demonstrations in the capital which activists claim will be the most disruptive protest yet.

This just looks like a homeless camp now. I'm actually embarrassed for XR. Millions of pounds in fundraising, mass publicity and still only a handful of people turnout. It's not even worth trolling these fools anymore. Bring back the good old days where there were thousands of XR dancing like clowns and getting dragged off trains by the public for our entertainment. This is just sad.
