In 1899 Uncle is around 40-50. Meaning the timeframe would kinda match up with red harlow. He also Carries a Red Cloth in his back pocket: In RDR1 he has scars on his cheek and hand, His Revolver is the same as Harlow's but rusted.

I am a strong believer that Uncle both is and isn’t Red Harlow.
Rockstar has made it clear that Red Dead Revolver exists in a different time line than Red Dead Redemption, however, Red Harlow is still mentioned by name in RDR and made out to be some kind of legend or folk tale.

If you look at uncle without his beard, he bares an uncanny resemblance to Red. Seriously, go look it up. They are the same damn person. Same mouth, same eyes, even same face shape. Yes, I know he doesn’t share the same scars as Red but that’s about the only thing he doesn’t share.
Uncle’s history, what little is known about it, also lines up with Red’s history.

My theory is the Red does exist in Red Dead Redemption’s timeline and Uncle is is Red. The Red of Red Dead Revolver is quite literally the legend of Red and not the actual man that lives. Basically Red Dead Revolver is Red’s story as it exists in folklore having been altered and expounded upon into a legend.

So Uncle is literally Red Harlow but not Red from Red Dead Revolver. That Red…. Well… he will only exist in stories.
