In todays Retrobat setup guide, I am going to show you how to setup the amazing emulator PCSX2 which emulates Playstation 2/PS2 and can render them up to 4k resolution. I am also going to go through some settings as well as providing advice of which video settings you might be best suited with using. download link is below. Some games use the x and r1 buttons at the same time. Then emulator open pause menu. When i change to another hot key in the pcsx settings this not saved. Apart from that this frontend has potential.

This vid helped tons. Just one question. Can you either tell me or make a vid on how to make the sound output in 5.1 surround? I set pcsx2 to 5.1 and the ingame setting to prologic II but no dice

It is madness how difficult this is to set up, I put every bios file from every country in every possible place in the Retro bat folder and it still says I don't have bios. I can Force the game to run and it works but I can't dismiss the warnings with my game pad, which defeats the entire purpose of using retrobat. The only cause I can think of is that my BIOS files are not named exactly what they say in the missing bios. Idk

does PCSX2 on Retrobat support per-game configuration (and preferably per-game memcard), since some games might need different tweaks? I'm currently using Spectabis for this

I place the BIOS files exactly where they need to be and it still gives me a startup error stating that a PS2 BIOS is required to run.

thanks for your video ! can you help me i try to change the hotkey settings in games ( because now it's R1+ B and it stucks in game). the problem that when i try to modify it in the software, it doesnt save it, and every time Retrobat launch the emulator it overwrite the default hotkeys settings... any idea?

how do get out from a game on play using the game contrroller...or use the extra opsions panel for resulution ratio cpu show fps etc while you are on the game by using the contrroller

I have been trying to figure everything out and have been looking everywhere with no solution. If anyone can help, I'll really appreciate it! So far, I have only gotten one game to actually play on the emulator. The rest of the games I keep getting a red "please insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 format disc"

Hi, I use retrobat, I installed a new version of PCSX2 from the official website, I deleted all the files from the previous version of PCSX2 and pasted the new version from this week in November and then I improved the graphics in the PCSX2 emulator itself, I put 1080p, fxaa etc.., This is where the problem comes from, if I start with the emulator the graphics are as high as I changed them, but if I start with Retrobat the graphics are still bad. Do I need to make any changes to Retrobat? I noticed that retrobat has 3 emulator options for pcsx2 avx2, sse4 and v16, what is the difference between them? In the end, I can't get the pcsx2's graphics to stay high when starting directly from retrobat.

I can get them working but my controller isn't working so can't start the games? Any ideas please?
