When I found out about digestive enzymes & probiotics years ago after having stomach/intestinal problems since a child, it made an amazing difference! I have taken them every since and had definitely helped and still does!

Amanda, your thoughts please?

I went low carb 6 years ago. For various (good) reasons I incorporated macadamia nutbutter. I've slowly increased it over the last two years to say 70% plus of all my calories.

It digest like a dream. But suddenly I experience digestion issues with most other foods. Fruits/veg=bloating. Protein 'sits' on my stomach a long time. The nutbutter no issue - digest like water.

I guess it's quite obvious, right? I have almost conditioned my digestion into a certain food, and now my gut flora is trained that way, and now I battle with other foods. I don't think the macadamia fats block my pancreas enzymes. I just think my gut is over trained in plant fats, and under trained in other varieties. You agree?

Thank you.

I’ve used papaya enzymes and they seem to help with my digestion. When I have stopped I had problems with silent reflux. Thank you for your videos

Such a great video! I've had my gallbladder removed and my doctor never mentioned i could have diarrhea 24/7 and ofcourse never mentioned anything about enzymes i found all about it here on YouTube ...could the lack of enzymes after gallbladder removal also cause yeast rashes?

My son seems to get dizzy with fruit, but also there were times when he wasn't dizzy.
Do you have any comments about fructase enzyme?

Lab results from PCP showed low Lipase (8), Amylase (21), indicating my pancreas is under performing. Based on this info, along with my symptom, main complaint of bloating, what product would you suggest? Thanks. (trying to avoid seeing GI specialist)

Hi, Glad I found this channel.
Thanks for the info.
I have celiac disease and I started using Klaire labs, Vitalzymes complete, expensive but excellent quality.
They did give stomach burning initially, but then after sometime it was ok.

Thanks Amanda. Are there any differences between Bile Acid, Bile Salts and Ox Bile? Your answer will help me out on choosing the proper supplements for my case (No Gallbladder)

I got acid reflux after covid, and nutritionist said to take zypan and chloracol, I feel better after taking them with a meal, but few hours later feel nausea. Not sure if both or one of them is an issue or if it is just my body adjusting to them?

Thank you for making this video, very informative.
I get a lot of gas from eating leafy vegetables and beans, which enzyme would you recommend?

Hi Amanda, so much appreciate your information. Thank you for that! My husband has now and then in his blood tests higher Lipase levels (around 64). Does that mean that he should avoid Digestive Enzymes supplements with Lipase or is it maybe recommended to take those? Or is there no connection between the Lipase blood levels (which indicate the status of pancreas) and digestive enzymes supplements?

Doc may I ask what is the best digestive enzyme for those having a GERD flare and now is suffering from deyed digestion and sometimes indigestion. Even just eat a little for each meal and drink water 30 mins - 1 hr. after eating, I keep on regurgitating the water that I drank. It's like my food can't go down to my stomach at the right time and be digested.

Just started taking a pancreatin enzyme and within the first 4 hours I had really bad stomach cramps. Should I stick it out for a little while or change it up ? I’ve had my gallbladder removed and struggle with breaking down foods. Bloating gas oily foul stool low blood sugar. I was hoping maybe an enzyme would help my body get some relief

Hello, I just recently found out that I’ve been tackling the wrong problem. I’ve had IBS for YEARS and thought i found the culprit as being low stomach bile. However it was the opposite, I have Bile Acid Malabsorption -I’m producing too much bile. Doctor has me on bile acid binders but would like to add something to the mix. What would be the best enzymes to tackle fat and bile absorption? Thanks..

Hello Ms. Amanda. I have a basic food and chem background..and hv been suffering for a lifetime of digestive problems; starting with Pyloric Stenosis...which is a "dumping syndrome" that occurs fairly freq with baby boys.

So, ..from there, basic obvious steatorrhea with stomach bloating and flatulence occurs lifelong. Now, ...I'm trying an enzyme mix/product called: "ZenWise/Daily Digestive Enzymes. They seem to help quite alot...but I'm still titrating the levels now.

Ahh...the problem I have with this formula...is, ...I can't tell which enzyme may be missing or low in it's constituent pill...as the ingredient list "is very lacking in clarity".

Any ideas about this product...or one the works well for "fat emulsion and breakdown" that you've discovered please?

Cheers. Hope this can help everyone reading.
