I don’t know what’s more sad. The fact that the writers completely destroyed power levels and power scaling in the series, or the fanbase going along with it. There’s no way someone like Roshi, Krillin, Tien and pretty much everyone outside of the main fighters who got to god level or were already staple extremely gifted fighters based on race, genes or abilities unique to them like Piccolo, half saiyans, androids, frost demons, those types make sense to get insane power levels because they’re so unique as a race. But Humans like Roshi’s getting these types of power spikes? LMAO There is absolutely zero, I repeat zero explanation as to how Roshi could be at 43 million power level for super by training a bit before the tournament. Even if he was training throughout the series and we didn’t know about it, there’s no possible zenkai boosts, major battles that gave him experience or transformations that changed him and his power level forever. He’s not some overpowered race, he contributed absolutely nothing in Z, but yeah, we’re supposed to just go with it and accept that’s his power. Ok then, believe what you all want to. I’ve just been obsessed with Dragon Ball since a child, now 28 and not a week goes by I don’t watch content or lore based on the show. That power ain’t happening, folks. There’s no conceivable explanation for it, and I LOVE Roshi and wish he was so much stronger, but this is just ridiculous. It’s completely possible he could have this power level, but there has to be a reason, an event, something that makes complete sense as to why during the Raditz arc he was in the 100’s, and since then outside of some filler he’s done zero training other than a little bit in super, which is not nearly enough to be at those numbers. Sorry fanboys, wishing it were different doesn’t change that fact.

People forget krillin scales to his wife, who beat a stronger transformed ribrianne, with weaker ribrianne swapping hands blocking and dodging ssj vegeta. Ssj vegeta is immensely stronger than base form post BoG goku who is universal+.

18 beat a stronger ribrianne, and looked equally strained as base goku and 17 in the gravity pressure from the other fighter. And casually picked up a dude who was so heavy he was going through katchi katchin, which gohan from Buu saga couldn’t (with a weaker katchin) meaning she is at least stronger than that.

And krillin beat a dude who hurt her through both arms guarding. As well as the fact that they actively train together, it kind of makes sense, we’ve seen that androids with light training become far stronger, and it seems that those who train with them do too, which isn’t new concept at all in db, as training with or near others (especially gods or special beings like androids) gives exponential boosts.
