THE HISTORY OF CHRISTIAN PERSECUTION SUMMARIZED

The Near-Extinction of Christianity:
The closest Christianity came to being wiped out was during the reign of the emperor Diocletian.

He administratively went through the empire and found an anomaly, a group of people that didn’t behave as they were supposed to.

They didn’t worship the emperor like everyone else, they didn’t visit the pagan temples and engage in sexual immorality, and they didn’t sacrifice to the Greek pantheon of gods that so dominated the way of life.

They were anomalies, and so Diocletian decided to get rid of them.

First, he found the meeting places where the church gathered and tore them down.

Then he went in and arrested the Christian leaders, killing every one of them he could find.

Then, he searched for and destroyed every copy of the Scriptures he could find, so not a single complete copy survived before the fourth century.

Diocletian came closer to exterminating Christianity than any other emperor, and there were at least thirty of them who tried.

This was just beginning when John was writing down the Revelation of Jesus Christ, and in the midst of this persecution, the struggling believers at Smyrna received a letter from Jesus.

Once we are saved, we automatically become Nomads, because this world is not our home. All government authorities cannot take away Psalm 91:1 from us (me). "He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

Matthew 24:35

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.”

Diocletian was buried in his palace. His tomb was later turned into a Christian church. ❤❤❤

Christianity was never in danger of extinction, God would have never put Jesus in the position of crucifixion at that time. God's plan was always to have a path of reconciliation back to Him through Jesus death and resurrection.

Pope Francis: Freedom of conscience in danger in 'Christian countries'

"Freedom always develops, it grows. Think of us Christians 300 years ago, if there was this freedom that we have today. Faith grows in awareness, in the ability to understand itself, " Francis said.

"For example, today we have removed the death penalty from the Catechesim of the Catholic Church. Three hundred years ago, heretics were burned alive, " he said.

Revelation 17:6 KJV
And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.

It will also end religious freedom for these few Christians worldwide Rev 12:17, 14:12, but these persecution by Papal Rome and Apostate Protestant America Rev 13 and kings of earth Rev 16:13, 19:19, will opened eyes of millions in Babylon, latter rain, greater than Pentecost Rev 18:1 and they will come out Rev 18:4, 5.

Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God unto the shepherds: Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flocks? Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed; but ye feed not the flock. The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them. And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd; and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered. My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill; yea, My flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and non did search or seek after them.

Fairly good understanding of the reign of Diocletian, but one thing that was left out was that he had everyone. Take a mark in order to buy or sell those who wouldn't take. The mark were executed. This only lasted for a little while but. It fulfills the prophecy that so many people seem to be waiting for

Those without God are truly confused:
Those who think Jesus is God cannot grasp the fact that Jesus has a Father of whom he loves dearly. Those who say these things have been blinded by Satan. Jesus never once prayed to himself; he always said “my Father which is in heaven” when he was on the earth himself. Jesus was not talking of himself when he said we must do the will of his Father (Matthew 7:21). Jesus wasn't speaking of himself when he called *THE FATHER* the only true God (John 17:3). Jesus never said to worship him, but only to worship God and him ONLY shall we serve (Luke 4:8). Jesus said he does nothing of himself; it was *HIS FATHER* who taught him all things (John 8:28). Jesus himself *came forth FROM God* into the world, and in turn he leaves the world and returns to the Father. Jesus is not returning to himself, not in any way, form, or fashion (John 16:28).

Repent before it’s too late.
