100% on point.
I never got smoke.
It's a Lost Cherry flanker for sure but I was expecting something darker.
It's not a huge performer, just average.
But for sure better than Lost Cherry, I will always buy Cherry Smoke over Lost Cherry.

As soon as I heard about the premiere of this fragrance, I couldn't wait because apart from the fact that I really like Lost Cherry, I also love deep dark scents. I was hoping it would be an amazing fire. 😁🔥 I've always liked layering Lost Cherry with Oud Wood and Cherry Smoke was going to be the perfect replacement. Would have loved to hear this was like a cherry pipe tobacco with smoke notes. Similar to Tobacco Vanille but maybe a fresher take.

I haven’t gotten a chance to try this one yet, but I’ll let you know what I think when I do. I have a Nother cherry fragrance that I think you’ll like…might I say love Raw Cherry by Aaron Terence Hughes. I don’t wanna say too much about it but I will say I think it has some components that are missing from Cherry smoke by Tom Ford. You should try a sample and let me know what you think.

I really was excited when I knew about this one, I haven't tried the OG, I don't think I'll buy it, but, do you prefer it over the OG? I have Cherry Punk and Sora Dora's Mandorle both great cherry fragrances IMO, even though Mandorle is an almond fragrance, you get the cherry, but more like in DiSaronno, also tried Gritti Duchessa to my nose BR540 with cherry, not for me. I like your take on this one, very objective, I find other reviews more polarizing and that leaves me confused. Thank you Marc!!!

I picked up both Electric Cherry and Cherry Smoke. I expected to like Cherry Smoke more. I do like it, but I was a little disappointed. I liked Electric Cherry more.

Kind of the same thing happened last year with the rose trio. I expected to like Rose de Russie and I would up liking it a distant 3rd.

I having no desire to ever try new Tom Fords. I hate to be like that but it’s truly how I feel. It’s sad to see where the house is now from where it came from. 😢

I didn't get smoke in the opening either. Certainly would've been awesome if it had something like a CdG base with cypriol and tobacco...touch of canabis maybe. But I suppose it wouldn't sell as well. Side note, as I was writing, I suddenly got a picture in my mind of the Signature ribbed bottle (the BdJ one), but in the same blue as Mandarino di Amalfi (and with gold writing). Couldn't read the writing on the bottle, but it only flashed for like half a second and was gone. Weird. Someone's sending me info from the future. 😂
