Here is a short equipment list that we use to create all of these relaxing sleep videos which includes, but is not limited too the following. Multiple Go Pro's, A Nikon 7500, a trusty Tascam DR-100 Mk3 for most of the audio recordings in mp3 format, a range of microphones including a Sure 57 for that deep, low end sound. For the final production of both video and audio I use only Adobe Premiere Pro. If you have any questions about how I recorded something, just ask.

I have that same vintage Dominion fan. I can vouch for it's sleep quality. But you also need good blankets during the colder months because it moves a crap-ton of air :-)
Keep those older fans properly oiled (back then they actually had oil cups on the motor) and they will last for ages.

Been living in an apartment near a dam for a year and there was allways water noise there, day and night. I moved away a month ago to a new place and I was happy to sleep in that new place knowing that it will be peaceful.
Little did I know that I just can not sleep without some, ,monotone" nois elike this one in your videos. I really appriciate you posting this. I am grateful. :D
