Mirror's Edge is set in a quasi-futuristic dystopian society, in which a network of 'runners', including the main character, Faith, act as couriers to transmit messages while evading government surveillance. In the style of a three-dimensional platform game, the player guides Faith over rooftops, across walls, through ventilation shafts, and otherwise within urban environments, negotiating obstacles using movements inspired by parkour.

I know the mirrors edge universe is meant to be an authoritarian dystopia but I think its cosy. The bold block colors contrasting with the purity of the crisp white environment reminds me of childhood playfulness, innocence and simpler times. If only our cities had the same minimalist interior and exterior designs and clean glass architecture. Serenity is the best word to describe it. This soundtrack fits perfectly.

I remember playing Mirrors Edge a year ago(I think it has not been a year yet)and fell in love with it, listened to the soundtracks a lot in the summer, I remember all summer when I got to sleep I would put a 1 hour mix of Flight or Ropeburn or any song in that occasion and sleep, even it was really hot and sweaty summer when I listened to the ost it always made me feel cool and in my comfort place.
One night I climbed my rooftop and watched the cars in a big bridge far from my home with a song from Solar Fields playing, I felt amazing
I cant describe how Mirrors Edge made me feel but its a wonderful experience and makes me feel nostalgic even though I played it like 8 or 9 months ago not when it came out.
Still amazing video and music made me say all this about how I feel. Thank you!

I have been coming back to this specific playlist since 2019, but have been listening to the original soundtrack since 2012, this sound track led to me learning about Solar fields. such amazing music, and funny enough both this soundtrack and solar fields I would listen to while I ran and practiced parkour.

With 2020 almost over and I'm still listening to this. I'm glad this year is finally starting to end and to hope that we might have a good year while we think of parkour and the peace that we may finally have and move this behind us. Like I said, this music defines parkour when you're on a top building and it still does to this day. Perfects me. Thank's Nostalgia OST and may your 2021 Path may lead to a great start.
