So for the last few years, both the JBL Flip 6 and JBL Charge 5 have been my favorite speakers to recommend cause thanks to their woofer and tweeter setup, these speaker sound very good. Plus they’re portable and durable. But now, Sony has copied the woofer and tweeter set up that found in both of these JBL speakers and the ULT Field 1 actually sounds better than the Flip 6 and the ULT field 1 really gives the JBL Charge 5 a real run for it money. So today, let's see if JBL should be worried about the new Sony ULT Field 1.

The recent Sony ult line up is awesome...they focused on the midrange and let em shine in their speakers which was what was lacking in their previous speakers

Can’t blame JBL, those speakers have been out for a while now, at this point and time it’s a miracle that Sony finally gave REAL love to their speakers and not only "warm" sound experience but real and bold sound
Pairing hopefully is better than before as well

I purchased one recently. I'm not happy with the bluetooth connection. I must have my phone directly along side the JBL Charge 5 for the sound to play crisp. 4ft-6ft away and the connection breaks, and the music becomes choppy. I doubt, I could host a backyard BBQ. Playing music while the my phone is in my pocket will be a problem as I'm grilling. I'm thinking of returning this speaker. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I hope you can also compare the JBL flip 6 and ULT1 with Xiaomi Sound Outdoor 30w as it also have the same speaker setup and 30w of power at half the price of both Flip 6 and ULT 1.

People who say the jbl sounds clearer and better are nutsb. The sony is sounding way clearer, more well-balanced, and just better. The jbl's sound too muddy.
