Here in Washington DC, the capitol of the United States, we are in the middle of peak bloom for our Sakura. It's a really picturesque scene, Sakura right in front of the White House, which is where our president lives, some people selling paintings, some people playing music, and kids running around trying to catch the petals before they touch the ground. It's really lovely, and our local news have an entire segment devoted to them, when the time rolls around!
