Frances Tophill visits pioneering horticulturist Josh Sparkes at his experimental plot in Devon to uncover some of the secrets of sustainable food production. And Nick Bailey reveals his beautiful new border at home, which was only planted up a few months ago.

There’s a head gardener in Birmingham who shares his top tips on how they keep their traditional arts and crafts garden looking glorious all year round. Plus an amateur gardener in London who loves to grow vegetables in pots.
