I've been watching your videos for a few days now and this seems to be a fairly relaxing process. Your videos have peaked my interest in trying gem faceting as a hobby. I do a bit of metalworking and have made several silver rings and pendants. It would be interesting to be able to make a ring and cut the stone myself. I would love to know what type of faceting machine you use and why you chose your equipment over some of the other desings on the market.

This is by far the best intro to faceting that you have made. I could do without the music, but that is a matter of taste.


Excellent and thorough polishing job. You meet points are pretty good, but there is room for some improvement. Have you read the book on Meet Point Faceting by Long & Steele?
