I'm canadian, but i really want to know what nixon did that made him resign? Can someone explain to me what "watergate" is and what nixon did that was so terribly bad that made him resign?

watergate is a group of office complexes where the watergate scandal occured, involving a group of 5 men breaking into said complex for reasons remaining unknown. These men, however, were related to a group who wanted to re-elect the president (i.e. Nixon) through the use of a slush fund. This ultimately led to Nixons resignation.

@TheNp42 Mysteries of all kinds are being investigated. It's rare that only one is being done at a time, and it's rare that there are less than dozens of mysteries being looked into by the same people. But really, it's easier to look into old mysteries than new ones, especially government mysteries, eh? The people who know what's going on can't just say what they know, and journalists can only hope for a break or a deathbed confession.
