Those burning fires are not threatening homes, businesses and property belonging to the governor, it's the people of California who will suffer because Trump wants what he wants knowing that withholding funding to fight those fires impacts California residents directly.

Yes it's one of the more expensive states, but CA has something like the 6th greatest economy in the world. That's the world. The state alone also supports 5 or 6 (or more) republican states that can not support themselves.
