UK announces new travel rules for Indians; India returns the favor by issuing similar guidelines

A diplomacy war has been sparked off after the United Kingdom released fresh COVID travel guidelines for Indian travellers. According to the new rules, the fully vaccinated Indian travellers will not be considered vaccinated and will have to undergo a mandatory 10 day quarantine period. A massive row was sparked off and the Indian government has now decided to return the favour to the United Kingdom. The Indian government will be releasing new travel-related guidelines as well and the U.K travellers will not be considered vaccinated in India. The United Kingdom travellers will also have to face a 10-day mandatory quarantine in India, irrespective of their vaccination status.

Very good. Britishers should be taught a lesson. Students are the ones suffering. All countries should boycott UK travellers.

If an Indian citizen travelling from canada or US to India through Uk on a connecting flight, will He/ She also has to face these restrictions of compulsory Quantrine and RT PCR testing on arrival ? or It is only for UK nationals entering India from 4th October onwards. Please clarify if somebody has this specific info.

This new rule is also for indian citizens coming from uk.or only for foreign nationals coming from uk?
