For those who missed the joke:

The joke is that Beezy lied to Mia by saying he wasn't playing fast mana or tutors. (Lying makes you the worst)

That's definitely not the worst guy. Close. I own an LGS and a guy comes in saying he's playing an upgraded precon. My employee grabs a precon to play with him. He gets offended and tells him he beats store owners with their best decks and to play his strongest deck. My employee goes, are you sure? The guy says yes. So the customer proceeds to play things like Rhystic Study, The One Ring, etc. things way above what anyone would say is precon plus. Ontop of that, he's also playing banned cards like Gifts Ungiven. My employee wipes the floor with him regardless. The guy gets mad and leaves. Him and his girlfriend leave a 1 star review saying that the man was a "New Player" he was not and he got bullied playing a "precon" it was not and that my employee played a "lockout deck" it was not. For the record, it's very hard running a store. Profit margins, especially in the beginning, are not great. Im about to hit my 2 year mark in February. You're playing with peoples livelihood for what? You got mad you lied amd cheated but still lost? Please support your local LGS's, if they treat you well, by leaving them good reviews. It helps more than you know and costs nothing. I'd also like to mention, the person comes back to the store to play in drafts and we smile and treat him well regardless.

Yeah I would be scared if they tutored for a Sol Ring, too. Because that means they have their “wincon” already in hand.

Well, I don't think anyone should be surprised at an upgraded precon including the card that's in every single precon.

That looks like a number 7 play, I would be more scared if he did it on your endstep and searched for mystic remora

Technically, the sol ring is in every pre-con so it could still be an upgraded pre-con

Fun fact: the Pirate precon led by Admiral Brass Unsinkable has portions of several infinite combos in it.

Deck comes with Malcolm Keen Eyed Navigator which infinites with Glint Horn Buckaneer. Francisco Fowl Marauder goes infinite with Agatha’s Soul Cauldron Walking Ballista. Timestream Navigator which goes infinite with Helm of the Host.

So if someone says “upgraded precon” and pulls out that commander, you might want to inquire deeper

I mean that's pretty much a 7. Enlightened tutor could make it an 8. But sol ring is a card that SHOULD be in every deck

Sol ring is literally the most accessible card ever printed for magic. Tutoring for sol ring is probably the chillest thing that deck could do lol

“Upgraded Precon”; keeps the box commander and replaces practically every card aside from basic lands.

These are the same guys who argue that rule 0 is dumb because it “gives away too much information

"When the fuck did WE say no tutors?"

When your commander IS a constant tutor...

Worst is the proxy player that net decked, but doesn’t know how his cards work or how to pilot it.

MTG is the only game where people get mad at you for playing the game.

Having tutors doesn’t make your deck not a 7…a seven is supposed to be largely optimized, minimal fluff. As in…you can have tutors and some fast mana, just maybe not all of the highest power ones. I know the point is the dude lied but some folks in the community seem to think a 7 is their pet commander deck that’s pre con power level…them things are 4-5s.

I don't care what anyone Tutors and fetch lands don't make your deck automatically a "7" tutors don't break the game in a 100 card singleton format. I will die on this hill.... Please tell me again how broken diabolic tutor is said no one

If you count Sol Ring in the "I dont play with fast mana" statement, that's really splitting hairs. Sol Ring is ubiquitous. It's not going anywhere. I would rather play against a Sol Ring than a Smothering Tithe or Dark Ritual.

Worst guy I played was the worst in the real sense. Dude was playing a Judith, Carnage Connoisseur which was basically a “whoops all board wipes” deck. Needless to say, we didn’t let his commander stay on the board. He spent the whole game not paying for the turn 3 rhystic study because he was using up all his mana to “stay in the game.” I kept telling him to pay the 1 because he’s not getting himself into the game, he’s just helping his opponent get ahead. He would also get so proud when his deck would board wipe everything, only for him to lose to some infinite combo. Now he was actually the worst.

I was playing a higher power deck against a lower power group so when I drew a vamp Tutor I grabbed my pet joke card (a 1/1 frog with menace) instead of anything actually dangerous
