I used to love DIYing gifts for my kids when they were younger... doll diapers, little stuffies, and their very own craft bin, so they could each have their own supplies (and not fight over them!). They're teens now, so i cant get away with much DIYing, except maybe scrunchies and zipper pouches... I'm actually thinking of things as i type, maybe i can actually make more than i thought for them! Still time!! See, this planning and thinking is the best part of Christmas, for me anyway! Getting excited!! 🎄❤

I am love to crochet and have made dish towels, hot pads, couch throws, hooded blankets, and sweaters, and I am not as organized as you either! I just retired and plan to make blankets, hats mittens for sheleters, newborn hats for a hospital my daughter works at. I also admire your energy 😊. I want to start quilting memory items! I love to watch your videos. You and your hubby are the cutest!

Love your craft room vids! I asked for a new tripod for Christmas a few years ago. I am so glad I did. I relieved all the frustration that made recording no fun. I highly recommend the neewer brand. Very high quality for the money. ❤

I think your craft room looks good! Mine is never truly organized. My washi is organized after a long process...it's hard to do that! I love The Princess Bride and also ET. Carey Elwes is a nice guy I'll bet. He's a happily married man for a long time so that's a big plus for someone from Hollywood in my book! I hope you had a great time meeting him! Sean was so sweet to get the meet and greet and the movie for your birthday!🎂I'm a paper crafter...I make cards for every season for my family and friends...also birthday cards. I'm still a scrap book person too. I used to do tons of crafts but since I no longer work with kids I stopped all of that. I occasionally make something for a holiday for my hair dresser since she's the only one who still appreciates that kind of thing!

Ha! "Clothing that i want to do projects with"!!! That's totally me too! I have a hard time getting rid of clothing with stains or tears, etc. I want to either fix them all, or use the fabric.... but there's just so much! Oh well, dreams and plans. 😅😊

I am thinking about doing diy Christmas gifts this year because i really need to get back into crafting. It helps with my anxiety a lot. I have a granddaughter coming in December as well that i really want to make a crochet blanket for. I'm hoping that Thanksgiving break will give me the time to reset and begin crafting again <3

I use to make dolls for my mother in law when she was alive . I did sluggo an Nancy popeye an olive oil. I forget the babys name but did it too numerous other dolls. .My favorite was Nanncy an sluggo.

P.S. the very first row or so of crocheting is always the hardest. Even for people who are very experienced.

I do my best to put up the tree on the day after Thanksgiving and avoid all shopping. One year I did all my shopping before Thanksgiving. Best year ever. But it only happened once. What a shame.
