In this rambling video we talk about my latest direction the channel is going on: My interview with kid behind a camera, my recent podcast. will I still be doing francis sketches? will I still be doing my gaming news? What about sponsors?

Why are people mad at boogie? why is boogie doing the things he's doing? I've read these and a lot more on social media. So I figured I'd bring it all to light and talk about it here.

It's quite simple really. You're not uploading content that earned you the followers you have in the first place.

I dont come here for drama, it doesn't matter what side your on, that's not why people click boogie videos.

You seem to have forgotten why people watch you, or just assume because you stay neutral that everybody will enjoy it.

Dont be like blizzard and lose touch with what your fans look for in your content.

I come here for real videos about gaming news and real videos about you and your life. I dont come here as a platform to hear contraversial interviews or collabs, regardless of what side of the fence your on.

I didnt like the interview because it came off as a PR piece. Not necessarily your fault, but I think you should avoid interviewing people you know well in this context, as I felt like you didn't push him and also helped him excuse behavior. It came off as fairly planned and an executed piece to heal his image.

Boogie... I am saying this with the upmost respect. You did NOT and I repeat DID NOT, do a good job at interviewing Michael. When a person interviews somebody, it is to be all about that person, NOT the person conducting the interview. You made that interview all about you. Do me a favor, go back and watch that video. Count the amount of times you said "I".

Example "Michael rumors has it your dad was beating the kids" Michael responds rather then you following up with questions, you said something like I know what you mean I came from an abusive home .... That's just an example, pretty much every question you asked him you responded with how you could relate. If you are going to do that with every interview, people will get sick of it real fast.

This my friend is constructive criticism. I suggest you read further into this.

The whole glossing over what KidBehindACamera did defending his dad wasn't a good look. I do understand that trauma survivors often defend or gloss over what their family did to them, but that doesn't make it ok. Throwing a toy truck at a kid's face and calling it a skit isn't ok, neither is pushing them down or throwing them against a wall (which wasn't even for a skit) just for the sake of it.

I did like what you were trying to do with the kidbehindacamera interview. Give people an opportunity to make their own opinions. What I didn't like is that you said it was going to be a hard hitting "Shane Dawson Style" interview where you screamed in his face, becuase that didn't happen at all. Maybe with the next interview, just try and be more accurately descriptive of what it's going to be when you're hyping it up. That video was called "kidbehindacamera EXPOSED" and that is not what I saw in the interview.

I always support you boogie,
but you failed in taking kidbehindacamera to task. Cuestar made a video about your interview that I completely agree with. It sounded like a whole bunch of excuses and misdirection when he answered your questions and you let him, in some cases it seemed as if you helped him make excuses for him too by diverting attention to the good things he's done. I hear what you're saying, but with your interview, at least to me it seemed that you did the opposite. It was quite a biased interview, which is to be expected because he's your friend.

Sorry Boogie but so many subscribers warned you about getting involved with KidBehindTheCamera and that it would have a very negative impact on your channel. Looks like it did. I really like you and would love to see you back off the drama stuff. I would like to see more focus on your adventures, your lifestyle changes, your gaming. I think that is what has changed. You've gotten away from positive and interesting stuff and have been spending too much time in negative stuff or with negative fellow youtubers. I'm rooting for you, Boogie! I know you can turn this around!

Nope, it sounds like you're trying to have your cake with that 'polarising figure' nonsense. You specifically said last year that you were looking to avoid Youtube drama precisely because it was affecting your mental health and now you're thinking of interviewing Youtubers, commenters and more than likely will be giving toxic elements a platform? If your content swings that way, I'm done, Youtube has enough negativity and more than enough toxicity to go around and I'm certainly not buying this 'blown out of proportion' stuff when you have douches like PDP and the Pauls (Who were the root cause of Youtuber misery now) actively courting controversy, displaying and profiting off unacceptable behaviour and generally getting a pass with the passage of time by other Youtubers despite the huge damage they've done. I generally like your stuff Boogie, but I can't help but think that this is another self-destructive attempt to do something different to what you have been and personally, it'll not be for me. I've been following your personal stuff, the surgery, the recovery, the gaming news stuff and the resurgance of Francis, and I do not want to see you spiral.

I’m still new to the channel but heard about you for years. But man i feel a lot for you. You are a relatable YouTuber and you care and you speak to your viewers as family. And i love it. You are becoming one of my favorite youtubers now because of it. Keep it up man
