My parents were involved in amway and a dozen other get rich quick schemes. Spent most of their lives helping other people to get rich and ended up broke with a lot of useless products in storage.

Love your stats on success. I pointed that out to our upline (platinum and above). Got called a pessimist and talked down to. I stepped away before my wife and oh boy, they held a "counciling session" that was basically a why dont i support my wife and this business? Why am i ruining my marriage over it and if I dont get back on the wagon i may not have a marriage. It was absolutely disgusing. Ill also add this was done by people I attended church with who also held leadership callings in our church.... they basically held an amway disciplinary council.. toxic as hell.

Quixtar Amway survivor was in from 2006-2011. Reluctantly joined but my sponsor was indeed very successful, Very rich which is how i was tricked- i saw success. No matter how much i sold out the pit in my stomach telling me "this is wrong" never went away. On top of the regular scam everyone was evangelical pentecostal Christian and told us this business was our ministry...so on top of it being a commercial cult there was spiritual abuse as well. Quitting Amway meant quitting my ministry and now people wouldn't be "saved" because of me.

There is a special judgment coming for the leaders who deceived so many, took their money, and continue to spirituality abuse people.

Now that’s a brilliant expose of the dark truth behind MLMs. And I’ve watched many!
I’m in France and it’s not so common here. But I was recently offered a “great job opportunity” by a friend who has enrolled in one of them.
As a critical thinker, I had to first look into it. Oh boy! So many tactics they use are the same as the bag of tricks used by narcissists….and I know this topic well!
I’m forever grateful that I speak English. Gives me access to a lot of info that are not available in French. Grateful also for the people like yourself who expose the scam 🙏
My conclusion is that MLMs are pyramid schemes in sheep clothing!! A cult.

Becoming rich is also about working smarter not harder. You need to put effort into the right things at the right time and find the right people. Many MLM's are all about grinding and about brute forcing it and that just leads to nowhere.
Also to become rich you need to acknoledge your own limitations. You need to see your own strengths and your own weaknesses. Take advantage of your strengths and have others compensate for your weaknesses. Also limit your working hours in a constructive way so that you can keep your motivation up long term without burnout.

My very good friend who's like a daughter to me is 5 days in level. She's definitely in the honeymoon phase and I KNOW if I warn her she'll take it as a negative from me. Ugh it's so hard she can't afford much as it is and now this. Breaks my heart.

The common problem with these "MLM" companies is their overpriced products and their monthly autoships! Most of these companies are just forcing highly-priced LOW QUALITY products on their customers...
