Her parents are giving them wise counsel. It's different in the US, we are used to loans. In other countries, it can be different. You buy what you can afford and live with what you have. Kissing the Mom's feet is different, but I think it was done as an act of submission. To go to a country thinking it will be better for your life, and having to come back to ask for help, even if you work for the money, is very disheartening and sad. For him not to understand is even sadder. He knows he's adding to her stress, but doesn't understand fully, why.

Not thinking about your kid's or how they would be affected when you chose to marry someone in another country and also decide to move to a different country, without considering if your sons are ready for the loss of either their mother or the family and life they have established is beyond selfish. If I were that oldest son I would severe ties with his mother

People moving to another country without any money saved is irresponsible. Have enough money saved to get you through each year you can't work. otherwise you're not marriage material and you're selfishly putting that entire financial burden on your partner.

She’s such a baby. I think the reason she is really crying is because she knew she shouldn’t have gotten in that car loan debt. while they were in the US. It was all fun and games but now that she has to face her parents she doesn’t want to look bad because she knew how they felt about loans so she wants to put all of this “irresponsibility and burden” on him as if it’s his fault and when he wanted her support for her to say we both got into that car loan together as a couple, she buckled under the pressure of disappointing her parents like a kid 😂

What a beautiful culture. You parents feel obligated to help you even when you’re fully grown. Westerners can’t relate because their parents resent them after 18 years of age. Very admirable.
