I love the attention to detail on these firearms. Halo infinite just like the previous games have such believable firearms. I love it

lack of joke code or easter egg aside. This is a very dope step for 343. I don't know if this is common in Halo, but the level of attention to detail here is beyond many games. There is lore even on the weapons themselves. Not many AAA games, if any - is doing that today. That some A-class level attention to detail, right there.

This game looks amazing. They need to give a 2 day open beta on a weekend so everyone can play it. I only wish they had ramped up the marketing campaign because compared to Halo 3 and Reach. The marketing has been lacking big time on Halo Infinite.

The commando code, if you look close, is dots creating 1, 2, or 3-dot tall symbols. There are four 3-tall collections, two 2-tall collections, and maybe two or three 1-tall collections.

If there IS direct translation to english, substitution cipher style, that would mean that there are eight or nine 4-letter words in a row, which is unlikely if not impossible to do by accident. Or, each collection of 4 symbols could represent a 1 letter, creating a 8 or 9 letter word in total. This is also unlikely, as each "collection" is completely unique, meaning a 8-9 letter word that only uses each letter once - which again is hard to do by accident.

For the commando code, I can say with certainty that the symbols aren't a secret code that can be translated using symbols->english, and is likely either made up or just another dot code variant.

And unless anyone can find more text like this elsewhere in the game that isn't the exact same, it's basically unsolvable as a cipher. The shorter a passage of text is, the more impossible it is to solve based off of lack of association (see: the zodiac ciphers)
