Very Very informative!! Thank You, I just purchased this machine and had a general idea of how to use it, but this video explains EVERYTHING that I was unsure of! Great Content, great cameraman and not too long not too short! It is not often you find the first video you click on answers all of your questions, but this one DEFINITELY does! Thank You and Good Bless!!!

Love all the tips you are sharing in this video. The bucket seat is a fantastic idea while working. It’ll save my knees and back. Cleaning the snake with the hose is the best idea!

Mine arrived a few days ago, just as you described. Good quality for homeowner use, the only quibble I had was the size of the 2 bolts that hold the tool box on....2.5 mm diameter, the heads might be 3mm....right away I could see these pulling right through the holes in the bottom.I found a couple of 6-32 bolts 1-1/2 " long that fit but 8-32 would work if you drilled the holes out. No more $500 plumbers bills!

@ RC Insiders, thanks for all the heads up. I bought the VEVOR 3/4"x100 foot. Last night I used it on our clogged 4-inch drain line from the basement cleanout, located at the wall closest to the street. After nearly running the entire length of the 100 feet, it cleared. I found that nice spot of going forward and then neutral, forward, neutral, forward, and neutral, edging the clogged part of an inch at a time. It worked really well. I used the U-shaped cutter end to clear the clog. It is not all roots but other fine stands, maybe hair and so on? I'm glad it wasn't roots causing the blockage. A root clog would probably mean damage of the original drain line from the late 1950s. The line was in perfect shape 6 years ago. I think the 4-inch pipe is still undamaged. I sprayed fresh water on the cable, and it was cleaned up, thanks for that idea, RC. However, I had to pull the cable back by hand, the machine would reel the cable in once I had it out of the hole, but not pull the cable out of the hole. (I wonder if it's defective?) The bucket is a must!! I sat there for 40 minutes with the clearing pass and a total of an hour. No way did I want to stand, squat or kneel. After 10 minutes or so, operating it was like driving a vehicle while sitting on the 'nice' bucket. The plumber wants $599.00 for this service at today's charges, Sept 2024. One time and the machine is almost paid for. The VEVOR is rated at 181 lbs. but seemed a lot heavier. I decided to hire some strong young help to carry it down to the basement, but after they did that, they refused to be paid. So, great of them. Thank you very much for the great advice, @RCInsiders. Yes, you got to have the bucket! Get stuff RC!

Thank you for the video. Very informative. I just got my 100FT of this. Your video is lot more easier to view and understand how to operate the machine than the manual (full of words!!). Again, Thanks!

Great video and tips. Just ordered the 1/2” x 100’ after cleaning the kitchen sink with a totally mechanical snake.

After watching your great video and other less informative videos, I've decided to purchase the VEVOR Drain Cleaner Machine 100'x3/4" Snake Sewer Electric Drain Auger Auto Feed. I hope to remember to post my results from the machine in a few weeks. Thank you for caring enough to do your video and say what you did. I especially like that you said you've bought other top-notch VEVOR products because I had never heard of VEVOR before.

Thank you for making this video! It is very informative and you were very thorough with the ins and outs for operations and safety. I recently bought this machine for similar reasons, I need my drain cleaned at least once a year due to tree roots, after two uses it will pay for itself. I feel more confident using my machine after your excellent video, well done!

Dang excellent video. My auger recently broke and I was forced to call a plumber for a rental property back up. The charge was $462.00 dollars and I was very angry about that high price. Just got my new Vevor delivered today. These things pay for themselves with one use.

I had the harbor freight machine, almost identical. It's good for some small drain lines, but not really the best choice for main sewer lines

You did an amazing job of explaining in detail how to use the auger! Reverse could be misleading to anyone who runs one without knowing how it works, but you cleared up any questions. . Great bonus tips with the bucket and hose. Not sure how useful the 3/8 version of this will be but Home Depot has them on sale for $169. Big thanks on a great job!

I just ordered the same one from Lowes, I've been using a steel 100' ribbon snake for 30 years and I'm just tired of that pain in the butt.
Thanks for the video, it was the first one that popped up when I searched and glad it was. 👍
Your camera operator did a very nice job too. 🙂

Great review. Thank You for sharing it. I am buying a VEVOR 100' X 1/2". I'm going to use a red spray paint to paint markers line on the cable at 25', 50'&75' so I can tell how far the cable is in the sewer. Hopefully the paint will stay on the cable.

Do you have a video on the maintenance of it that you do? What head do you recommend for toilet Cloggage?

Thank you for your very informative video.
I noticed on my Vevor 50' 1/2" is opposite of what your showing for the forward and reverse handle.
Even though the arrow by the handle shows to the left, on my Vevor, thats reverse. Handle going all the way to the right is forward on mine.
I just have to remember that when in use.

I just bought the Vevor 100ft 1/2 inch RC9001. Best thing I did was to watch your video. Your VERY clear explanation and safety tips were GREAT!! You didn't talk over our heads. Thank You for that. My question is I put on the Arrow cutter tool and tightened it down but they are slightly loose on the cable. Is that how it's meant to be. Thanks Mike
