I've had one for a month and absolutely love it! (although my old SP40 is still going strong after 5 years daily use) The flood beam is so easy on the eyes at 0500. No annoying quirks at all. Maintains brightness very well. I upgraded the strap to an Acebeam orange/reflective model for $3 and got a couple of 4000mah Liitokala batteries. I think it's the perfect headlamp - despite the budget price.

I love it.
I removed the straps, put 3M double side tape and mounted on my helmet at work. Also aluminium adhesive tape. The UI is great. Before i had the HS42 but it takes 9 clicks to get from flood back to throw.

Your audio in the last few reviews has been low. Have to turn the TV up quite high. I know you have it set the same as always, but it is a bit low .
