Big Respect Jim, must be hard trying to gain an understanding pf every clubs situation and as a liverpool fan I think you’ve got ours spot on. You where correct to say our midfielders was narrow, but Harvey Elliot does like to drift wide and play with TAA and Salah. Like Ottavio, Elliot was originally a winger but got moved inside. I think a similar adaptation to Ottavio game could see him thrive on the right of our midfield. All the best, keep up the good work.

As a city fan, I think a back up RB is more important. I know Cancelo can play on both sides but he ends up playing an insane amount of games when Walker gets rested

Have to disagree on the Arsenal pick. I think we should get in competition/Backup for Thomas Partey. A dm who can win the ball, shield the back 4 AND progress the ball effectively trough carries and passes. Elneney is allright on the first part but lacks the progressiv elements

Maybe you made a mistake, but Wieffer just moved from a second division club in the Netherlands (Excelsior, who got promoted with him) to Feyenoord. He hasn't made any minutes in the Eredivsie yet as well since he's injured.

Well Southampton are now trying to get Cody Gakpo and they're now using 4-2-3-1 (wonder if Ruben Selles had an influence on that formation) with a measured press that greatly intensifies towards the end of games sometimes we end games with a 4-2-2-2 formation depending on subs, think a lot of it has to do with finding a solution to the lost points from winning positions dilemma.

Tough 0-1 loss to Man Utd but 17 shots to 11 is a good sign of things to come

I love Pellegrini, but for me Sergej Milinkovic-Savic would be the best fit for Tottenham. 6ft 3, strong, aggressive and great stamina just screams Antonio Conte. Would add some much needed presence and creativity to our midfield. But I can only dream 😩
