- When my mother passed away last year. One of the final discussions we had regarding Michael was her favourite songs. She was lucky enough to see him live during Bad Tour at Wembley stadium and the same again for HIStory. It's something she never let me live down. When the album 'Michael' was released a few years back she took a shining to 'Much Too Soon'. Whenever I had my turntable up and open she'd always ask me to play that song first if I was doing to 'disturb' her peace. For her funeral, we only got to pick such few songs due to her passing so quickly and unexpectedly. Of course, naturally, Much Too Soon was included. The acapella from the previously leaked multi-pack was the main one to be played and yet? I felt like I wanted something more special. So I turned to friends who I've known for years, who've collected just not MJ packs/stems but halve a dozen other artists too. I knew the full-ish pack of Much Too Soon was out there. Unlimitedly so did they. In the end and with determination on their end? They managed to grab me six Guitar tracks from the multi. All of them different quality, nothing matching, no L + R. Just a random mess. The day before her funeral I sat down In a house that was being emptied of her things and smacked a bunch of reverbs on things and tried to make it presentable. In the end, this audio file is the final song we played during her funeral.

Now that the multitrack of the song leaked in full a while back, I feel like I can play this horrible reverbed mess without traders or people hassling me. Apart of me wants to go back and do it correctly with the full stems. Give her the fully mastered song I wanted to give her. For now. That's a wound that's still very open and to you audiophiles? I apologies for the state of this rushed two-hour mixing job. Maybe one day I'll fix it, for her.
