Sports Cars & Customs Moving Madness at Undiscovered Classics - Part 4

On top of everything else we've been having to do at Fiberglass Farms, now we have a wrench thrown into the mix with the Sarasota Auto Museum being forced to close. Four cars in the museum that belong to our collection need to move out before the place is taken over by the governor and demolished. We had hoped to have some down time between all the moving and digging out, but no such luck so the moving madness continues.

We had to collect the 1937 Cord Phaeton that was customized in era to be extended several feet, affectionally known as the Extension Cord. Once we had that settled, it was back for a return trip to pick up the 1949 Packard Monte Carlo concept car designed by Richard Arbib.

I LOVE, LOVE, Love this Cord and every Cord ever built. They were one of the most sensational prewar cars ever.
Clever trick to let the vehicle roll back in portions. I was scared at first that something might happen to the car rolling back without any control. I did this mistake more than once.

Back in the mid-60s, my dad got ahold of a basket case, Berkeley. He put it back together and got it running and driving. The neat thing about it was the 2-stroke engine. It was super light, fiberglass bodied, blast.
