Something else about the building tip, if you don't plan on garrisoning it, consider destroying it for example on Crosstown conflict and another map (which I forget it's name) in Tibwar/Kane's Wrath odds are at any point during the game there are going to be useless civ buildings on the map, it is typically worthwhile I find to consider leveling a few,

namely ones close to my base, while on maps like say Safety Nest it might be better to selectively level buildings, a common thing I do as Scrin or it's Sub Factions is make a, sort of "building hit squad", consisting of 2 Shock Troopers and a Corruptor with some Buzzers hitching a ride, then I'll send them to an area, to demo buildings,

and for those who don't know about the units the Corruptor can clear garrisons and if you force fire it onto your units will heal them, it's also a target for the Buzzers (a very spammable melee infantry which can also clear garrisons) to hitch a ride on (unlike GDI and Nod the Scrin have no true transport unit however multiple vehicles are able to have Buzzers attach to them), while Shock Troopers are an incredibly competent infantry unit and the bulkiest Infantry unit Scrin have without taking commandos into consideration,

but if you don't plan on using a neutral building in some way I find it's usually best to destroy them since even if the empty building is behind your side of the front line (essentially where both armies will commonly run into each other on any given map), it can still be used against you for instance in Kane's Wrath,

a Sniper team might be put into an empty building, and if your playing say Marked of Kane (a Faction with really good infantry), you could find yourself randomly losing units that don't have a Reckoner or Carryall to take them to where they need to be, due to a Sniper team or even a few Sniper teams inside garrisoned buildings,

and Sniper teams DON'T break their stealth when they shoot, even when inside buildings, which for Marked is, very bad as now you have to most likely divert an Attack Bike or Raider and probably a Flame Tank to flush them out, two units that could be better used elsewhere in Scouting or denying Garrisons closer to the front, but if those Sniper Teams don't have buildings to hide in, a Raider that is freshly built can quickly divert from where you need it to take them out (BH and MoK Raiders can detect Stealthed units while base NOD cannot for some reason).


TLDR; Consider destroying buildings that you aren't going to use so they aren't used against you.

The last is easy to spy even on your ally if you play 2 vs 2 or 3vs3, , attack your ally a bit but your ally must not repair then use your spy with your engineer and use Z in same time, you lure your spy to your ally which is working..some people say it is a cheat but i will say it is a trick :)
With Z key your engineer try to repair the ally building but your spy must be on front wihch is the way you get inn :)
