When you watch the movie the demonic shadow appears alot in the background but its hard to notice, very creepy subtle addition

The first one is a doll that has a part of Long Legs spirit in it because he is a doll maker and uses them in his crimes. The second one is the devil that appears through the film.

That's "The Devil"...it appears several times throughout the film and it shape becomes less blurry as the movie goes on.

As yesterday seen it, for those who doesn't want spoilers don't read... it's the protagonists mother posessing a demonic presence/spirit from doing what doing for the daughter to grow up. I would also go as far as Longlegs being able to watch it all going down thru her, since he especially ordered it needing to happen her watching it all the way thru. I was first mistaking it as the dolls with the veils on, since they had the demonic part in them too. Before realizing it is the mother in the nun costume. Having essentially sold her soul for for the kid.

I think some will like and some hate the paranormal aspect of the film, but it does start with heavily suggesting it being there. So I don't know what to say to those who maybe wanted more down to earth puzzle for an ending. It is not a perfect movie, it is almost impossible job to even be on par with Silence of The Lambs and Se7en (which will be the obvious comparisons) and I think this movie was very good while not reaching that mountain. It didn't need tho, I went to see it with none other expectation than interested in Cage's performance as a serial killer. I have now seen that many went with some crazy expectations to watch it and it never is a good thing for the experience.

Second one just looks like every day shadow demon use to see them as a kid a lot they would have a long weird shaped nose sometimes, at 16-17 one day they started looking at me for a few months witch was weird then haven’t seen them since 😂

Actually there is one image where a doll is being made but if you look closely it looks like the little girl from the trailer. Like hes making her into a doll

Seeing the demon silhouette in the theater was crazy, I was in a packed theater and it’s on screen just long enough for your eyes to adjust to notice it before it’s gone. It was really cool!

I want to watch Longlegs but ngl I am kinda chicken it just looks so dark and so creepy it looks like it would haunt tf out of me for months something about the movie looks so unsettling

This movie is a movie that genuinely creeped me out, it was so good and I urge people who love horror to go see it
