ten years of gran hotel! i discovered the show over three years ago now, and i know it's cheesy or strange or whatever to say that something changed your life so much, but genuinely it did. so much of who i am now has be a direct or indirect result of this show - places i've lived, languages i'm *trying* to speak, and some of the most important people in my life have been a consequence of clicking play on that first episode. it was a comfort blanket to me during a particularly difficult period of my life, but most of all it has been a part of a season of change in which i have felt myself grow exponentially and discover not only what i want to do with my life, but the person that i want to be. i owe so much to this little spanish soap opera whose entry into my life was unexpected and yet almost certainly inevitable.

i also wanted to say thank you to everyone who has ever left a kind message on one of my videos, or subscribed to me. there's over 13,000 of you now and though editing has become irregular these days, i'm still here :)
