Dear Sarah, thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with us - two years ago I've bought Exotic Emperor and Apricot beauty (hundreds of bulbs of each variety) and planted them into borders. Exotic emperor has been terrific last year and this year - but Apricot beauty just appeared the year after planting - and this year: NOTHING! Not one of my planted 700 bulbs. I'm zone 7b in Germany and I'm really wondering how this can be???? A friend of mine in a city close to mine told me the same thing. Is there a chance that Apricot beauty is taking a year's break or what could be the reason? Please help! Lots of greetings from Germany, Susanne

I have watched this so many times trying to decide whether to plant apricot beauty or salmon impression with my exotic emporers because salmon impression has a large bloom that can be seen from far away better. Do you have any insight to share on those 2 choices? Does salmon impression bloom at the same time?
