Georgia Tann charged high adoption fees to wealthy couples wanting to adopt. She did tell the mothers their babies had died, so she did steal the babies and made a small fortune.

It's a pity Georgia Tann passed away before she could find justice. If she had been put in prison with women that loved their little ones, but could never see them because of the crimes they had committed, she would have ended up exactly, or worse, as a pedaphile in men's prison.

Regarding Tann, not all of the children were from a hospital. She was taking kids from all over the place for 20 years as a social worker. She's a prime example of predators seeking jobs that give them access to their victims. Like PDF files that try to get a job at a daycare.

I just can’t comprehend the evil of the lady who sold babies. We finally had a child after 5 failed pregnancies and I couldn’t imagine losing him to something like that. I hope that there is a hell, but I doubt it.

Janis was such a talented artist. My mother listened to her religiously. She is a tragic loss in the musical industry and all of our lives. May she continue to inspire others and provide us with her already existing amazing songs.
