Did you know that Tim Burton’s movie ‘Sleepy Hollow’ was based on the original short story ‘The Legend of Sleepy Hollow’ written by Washington Irving?

The two are vastly different, but both are undeniable masterpieces in their own right, with Burton's being much spookier.
