📍📍WARNING WALL OF TEXT📍📍📍 You got 67 on the EPX in a parking lot with more room(I watched the video👍). Being 8th scale and heavier the VT runs lower KV motors so you need more voltage to get the same speed. As I am sure you are aware KV is RPM per Volt. So 2000KV would yield 30, 000rpm approximately on 4s. So a 2000kv motor will take twice the voltage to get the same engine RPM as a 4000kv motor but the 2000kv has almost twice the torque. That is why smaller lighter RC run higher KV and lower volts while larger RC run lower KV but more Volts or S's. Your road is really short and you will never get the kind of speed it can do in that short of run especially when you get to 6s power. There are lots of guys getting over 100mph without one by running Max6 esc or MambaX 8s on 6s power. The only thing a Cap pack does is it will absorb a burst of voltage when the battery cant keep up which is why higher amp battery is better as well as higher C rating. It reduces the chance of a brown out to the BEC or servos/radio it will not save the ESC or make it go faster. Those are myths. This is also why some guys actually run a seperate battery for the radio and servos instead of a cap pack. There are guys getting 168mph with limitlesses and that is when you need all that fancy stuff. To achieve 100mph you should be able to do that with a different ESC and motor and lots of gearing if that is even available for the VT as you would need a smaller spur to put a larger pinion or a different motor mount.

Say let me ask you a question about your body. It looks fantastic with that aqua color, did you back it up with another color? Also Hobao has a center spool that replaces the center diff and if you do make sure you also order the front and rear drive shafts that are used with the spool. And you are doing a better job than I did about watch motor Temps. I JUST BURNED UP A TP motor that I didn't give it chance to cool down in between hits.
