Sywell Airshow 2024 | The Highlights

This weekend saw the debut of the Sywell Airshow, an event anticipated eagerly by so many aviation enthusiasts due to the nature of the flying display line-up as well as the location.

The daytime display concluded with a performance by a 9-ship of Supermarine Spitfires of various marks. A few passes in formation before breaking off into a tail-chase - a wonderful way to end the first day of the air show.

Isn’t this just incredible to witness the sight and sound of these historical aircraft to display at an airshow, the sound of the WW2 aircraft are just out of this world!!

James did a top job comms. Probably the best air show I’d been to. Up there in my memory seeing the final Lightning display at Binbrook and seeing the SR-71 at Mildenhall.

I went on Saturday and it was a great show well organised some great planes in the air what's not to like
