Candy Smart Condenser Tumble Dryers - Product Review

This is the Candy Smart Condenser Tumble Dryer and is
available in 3 different load capacity options of 8, 9 or 10
kilogram.
Condenser dryers give you great flexibility as the water is
collected inside the machine and doesn’t require any
plumbing. On this model the water container is located
at the bottom of the machine.
Taking a look through at the various functions with this
model you have a Delay Start feature which allows you to
delay a cycle by 3, 6 or 9 hours.
Looking at the drying programmes available, there are a
total of 14 to choose from, including Easy Iron, Jeans,
Sports and Wool cycles; on top of your standard drying
cycles.
And if you want to control those programmes via your
Candy Smart-Fi app, simply connect your appliance to
your Android smartphone using the NFC Connection
available. From here you will have fully customisable
options for full flexible drying. Through the Candy Smart
Touch feature you will be able to check the status of
your drying cycle and run diagnostic checks on your
machine.
To boost your drying capabilities further are the four
additional drying options, Ready to Iron, Dry Hanger, Dry
Wardrobe and Extra Dry.

The machine is fitted with Sensor Dry technology which
will stop the cycle once the load is dry. This will save you
time and money, as there will be no wasted energy spent
drying items that have already dried.
And keeping you in complete control is the Timed Cycle
option meaning it is possible to override an automatic
programme and set a specific time in 10 minute
intervals.
So a great appliance that will put you in the driving seat
when it comes to drying your laundry, and being part of
the Grand’O Vita range brings an air of style to your
home too.

Has anyone figured out dry at a low temperature on the CSE V9DF?

The manual does not show how, and the 'Table of programmes' does not mention temperature either.

I presume the Wool programme is low temperature? (i.e., no more than 40C)

I have one of these, can you fit it in a space like shown. I see my intake vents are on the side. Also, mine sounds like a chinook helicopter! Is this normal?

I bought my candy tumble dryer in April 2019 and I have never had a problem with it until now. I think the delay timer switch is faulty so I phoned D & G insurance up where I have all my appliances covered and they are sending out an engineer next month. Domestic and General insurance are the best you can get, if you have a problem with a unit they will sort it out ASAP.

It says in the instructions a 12mm gap at least has to be between the air outlet at the left hand side but here theyv got no gap? Is it okay to have the machine against a worktop with no or little gap?

This is the worst dryer ever. No one cares about fancy features. Dont put pictures in place to words. No one has time to become Sherlock Holmes or Elon Musk trying to dry pants

Has anyone found the incessant clunking noise it makes stops eventually?Mine is so loud I cannot run it cos even my neighbours to the side and above are complaining. If it is on in the kitchen I cannot hear the TV in the living room. Candy said the noise stops after 5-8 cycles but it hasn't. It also leaks from the front even tho I empty the water container.
