You should have removed the music when showing how loud they are

Here's what it sounds like "Plays obnoxious music"

I wouldn't mind seeing manufacturer's recommended filter life expectancy and average filter cost for future air purifier tests. That is a major purchasing consideration for myself.

Just a constructive criticism tip.. love that you wanted to give the sounds of the low speed and high speed fans... Alas, the background music spanning the entire video rendered the intent useless... Could not hear a thing

To all those considering air purifiers remember that the number one air purifier is your central hvac system. Adding carbon infused or hepa filters do your central hvac system drastically inproves the air quality in youe home.

Thanks for the Video.
I never have had an air purifier but my allergies are murder this year.
I got the Winix 5500-2 and after the first day my sleep improved significantly and my allergies are non-existent at night. I now have one in my in home office and sleep area and the life improvement is significant for allergies. The sensor isn't all that great for pollen detection so I just leave it on 2 all day and when I go to bed I'll set it to night mode. In the morning I'll set it to two again before I get out of bed and sometimes to 3 before going to bed because pollen is worst in the morning and late afternoon.

Could you review the Jaspr Pro? Some are claiming it's the best,
so I would love to see you put it to the test to see how it stacks up in comparison to the rest.

Thank you a ton for doing this. This was incredibly helpful. Amazing job. Just a note: The music when you’re doing the noise tests makes it very difficult to hear how loud the machines are.

Thank you for the video. Which of these would you recommend for removing odors from large or medium room size regardless of budget. Cooking odor and smoke odor to be specific.

When i saw the DIY air filter lined up on the grass with all the others i got excited to finally see the video ive been begging for for months, so i watched the whole thing to let the anticipation build up, but it didnt show up.

Is there a 2nd part coming later?

I love seeing all the different air purifiers in the yard next to each other... It's like a scene from a dream I once had, or was that a nightmare? LOL! 😆 I think the Coway Mighty and Winix 5500 are really good options for particles for smaller rooms for the money. But I would still take the IQAir HealthPro Plus over all of them for particle filtration. 👍

I'm looking into the Air Health Skye, Coway air mega 400, and Winix Xq. I'm trying to get something that will help with a ventless gas fireplace. My living room is 650 sqft and my entire house is 3500 sqft. I noticed you had a good test with the Air Health Skye. I've read that it's good for VOCs but I don't see it recommended very often. It's currently on sale for $300--would you recommend it at that price or is there another option I should consider?

We've been using BlueAir purifiers for years. Excellent -- but the model tested here is very old.
My comment reposted from elsewhere on this board:
"Exactly. This is a very old model. We have issues with two family members' health (asthma, autoimmune illness, allergies), have pets, one smoker (!), forest fire air AND year-round terrible air quality. We use BlueAir, various sizes. We based our choice on tests that were done in Canada. They work extremely well. The models of the past several years have had wifi and (basic) meters. While we don't care too much about the wifi (We still use a couple of the older models.), the meters are very useful. The quality is excellent, as is the customer service (though, unfortunately, it was [partially?] bought from the Swedes by Americans recently, which raises quality and pricing concerns). The large filters are very expensive; that's the main drawback -- though we have no plans to change, as we've used them for years with zero problems and excellent results."

Cool data. I noticed the PM2.5 and PM10 after an hour tended increase on the smaller models. Is this just due to the testing room being a constant size? Is there a 'time to PM2.5 of 0.1' metric? I'm wondering if the larger units are just over performing for the testing room size and whether the smaller units will eventually get there?

I can’t find the actual chart you said we could find at the end. Can you please share where the chart is that has all the reviewed models
