Coffee grounds and tea leaves are good too, along with fish bones, and yes, egg shells and Bananas. Plants thrive with potassium, calcium, and nitrogen.

I would suggest treating the egg shells in the oven first that way the calcium will break down quicker in the soil otherwise it can take quite a long time for the calcium to break down

Can you put it on the outside too? Or only when you plant it?

If you have extra toenails, don’t throw them out! They are an excellent source of calcium and potassium, which is great the water plants with!🤟

All very good idea's that work pretty good but i always have all litle flies on the soil and around the plants .
