I am an owner of Sony A7 IV. I have observed a huge difference between animal mode and the bird mode when you shoot birds. It is a completely different experience.

We have 3 modes because they have to use real-time ML algorithms, and they have a pure performance. Nobody can fit NVIDIA 3090 into a camera. Even the best Neural Net is imperfect, and you can achieve much better results with a bit of human supervision.

Oh my God thank you SO MUCH. My concern was the first mentioned thing about different settings between video and photo. I cannot believe that customers have to search and set this. Why isn't it already set as we switch the new dial. It should automatically offer the last used setting. Thank

A very good video, I have changed a number of things you suggested. I think it's a real shame how limited the selection of options are for the exposure compensation dial. I would love to set it to min shutter in Auto ISO but you can not.
