This was my very first method to draw a head with guiding lines. For me it's the easiest way to get confident with proportion. After practicing a few times you won't need the guiding lines anymore - just imagin them. Have fun!

Just a tip: don’t ever start over. Even if it’s bad, finish it. As a beginner it doesn’t need to be perfect and soon you’ll start drawing better without realizing.

It took me four tries until getting the right proportions and shading. Definitely worth the try. Guys just keep on trying don't stop at sketch one, try it again and again. It's really easy. Maybe most of the commenters are saying "everyone I can do this then put the pencil down on paper... not working or looks bad" Guys just keep on trying until you get a pace that you feel comfortable with. You can do this!

This is possibly the best face that I've ever drawn...





because I've never ever drawn a human face before...I actually managed to draw the face very well. I have about 5-6 years of drawing animals and all sorts of other things but humans have never been my main drawings. I grew up learning what I now know on my own but this video definitely helped a lot, even after doubting so much throughout the video.
