Wheelies all the way to uptown | KTM 690 SMCR

I’m currently practicing doing wheelies and realizing that first gear feels too jerky and aggressive. I’m thinking about trying it in second gear instead. Could you please tell me how you keep yourself in the seat? I grip the bike too tightly with my legs to avoid falling off, which makes it hard for me to work the brake properly.
