Metal Toad

The American Toad (Anaxyrus americanus) occurs throughout Canada and the Eastern U.S. It has three subspecies: the rare Hudson Bay toad, the Eastern American toad, and the Dwarf American toad.

These toads are characterized by conspicuous warts, stout bodies with short legs, and a noticeable call. The calls consist of long trilling sounds, lasting between 4 to 20 seconds each. They become louder, constant, and more frantic during the mating season.

Two more incredible facts:

1) The warty skin of these toads contains a poisonous milky liquid that helps protect against predators.

2) A female toad can lay up to 20,000 eggs, which can hatch within a week, and tadpoles become adults in 40 to 70 days (no wonder it is the most abundant toad in North America).

If you like the accompanying music, you should follow my brother @raphycello (IG) who will release his first EP on September 13th with his band @dekadenzaofficial (IG).

Pure Inspiration. Love the overtones. The dynamic in bar 3 should be súbito mp (or mix it louder). Please redo. Thanks 😊
