Back in FM20 where I played 1. FC Kaiserslautern in Germany I had Messi on a free transfer for one season before he retired and I had C. Ronaldo as an attacking coach, so he basically coached Messi for a season :D.

Non - league save as Rugby Town. My goalkeeper was injured and I didnt have aby on the bench. I chose one of my defensive midfielders as a replacement. He was in the best 11 of the week

I did an Napoli save where I forgot to buy a backup keeper after i forgot to renew Meret’s contract and let Gollini go back to Atalanta.
I signed Anatoliy Trubin that window, but my backup GK got a broken tibia in my 2nd game (preseason) and I forgot to buy a 3rd choice keeper. Following the day after the window closed, Trubin got injured for 4 months in training so I had to play my CB Anel Ahmedhodzic in goal.

He did so well that by the time Trubin came back from injury, Anel had only let 4 goals in that season, so I kept him in goals.

To make things better, he won serie a player of the season after only conceding 20 goals…and he somehow scored 4 goals and got 12 assists…bro just started cooking in goals for my 24/25 season

That own goal at 4.27 is actually similar to something that’s happened in real life. Look for “Bjarte Flem own goal” or “Bjarte Flem selvmål” (in Norwegian).

The story goes that Flem, the gk of top-tier side Tromsø, was about to start a quick counter-attack by throwing the ball to a teammate. But he realized mid-throw that an opposition player was blocking his throw, so he hesitated and tried to pull back – and he accidentally ended up throwing the ball in his own net instead. The game ended 1-1.

In a FM 2022 save of mine, Ronaldo played two years in Doxa Dramas aged 38-40 before becoming their manager, getting them in the first division of Greek football for the first time since 2012 and leading them to Europe.

My favourite funniest moment in my FM time was when a German player called Willy Wales that I signed from Dortmund broke the legs of the young English superstar of Manchester United, George England.

He only got a yellow card, England lost the season, I won the Champions League with Sheffield Wednesday, United missed Europe.

In my save the Ivory Coast won the 2030 World Cup winning every knockout game on penalties (like with DR Congo here), their best player was an old Franck Kessie playing in Saudi Arabia

It's weird sometimes with coaches, my employee Jan Schäfer (Junior coordinator at RB Leipzig irl) agreed to sign for my club as a scout despite winning the champions league with real madrid as headcoach few years prior

In one of my fm24 saves, I've seen Zidane get sacked by liverpool and replaced with Marek Mintal, who I'm assuming was managing in the unplayable divisions of Germany with the only history prior to hm joining Liverpool In 2029 being the bundesliga 2 3rd top scorer in 08/09

Nothing beats my FM24 save, which in around 2031 had Manuel Neuer retire, become Everton manager, get them just survival in his first season, sacked, replaced by Tom Heaton, and then he gets them relegated by losing to me on the final day of the following seaon! So much for goalkeepers making saves!

I had a save a couple of years ago where Zlatan left PSG at end of his contract to join BASEL for just 30.000 a week. He scored like 70 goals that season, Basel lost THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL and, at the end of the season, he retired.
