Meghan's unemployment/depression stats are missing one important feature- which is that the US population is almost three times as large now as it was during the depression. So, employment percentages are still far below the unemployment rates during the Great Depression. Depression unemployment was 25% vs the current rate of 13%. That being said, of course, things are absolutely horrible right now- no question.

To have good economy you need to build infrastructure, healthcare, unemployment benefit, childcare, sick live, maternity live that said . The hardest part is income tax if all the people pay the income tax then you will have those befits. But In America people didn’t get the chance to understand how it works. The country’s doesn’t have the humanities resources even is rich it will collapse when it heat with some things like this virus we don’t have control over. Conservatives will always tell you it socialist but the truth is human rights and that is democracy.
