One of the common questions that kept occurring during the Q&A video that I did was what Betfair trading data do I collect and how do I use it.

It's actually a really broad question with no simple answer. But in this video, I discuss some key aspects of data collection and also how I use it to find ways to trade profitably.

Great video. I process horse handicap raw data everyday as my first task of the day normally at 5am. This is a area I purely focus on as I have a passion for this type of race. I have a automatic ETL feed into a bespoke database I developed and data mine this with my own SQL stored procedures. You cannot manually process this amount of data.

Merry Christmas Peter! When you go through your data for the week how do you know which trades were scalps and which were swings in a single market? It can get pretty messy unless you record it straight after a market has closed and then you're straight into the next market.
